European HR Tech Fundings 06/2025

The last month of Q2 2025 should several strong combined AI x Learning as well as recruitment investments as highlights of the HRTech investments in Europe. The investments underline how AI is especially changing both talent acquisition and also learning with new smart and AI-based use cases that replace manual work and improve quality.

💵 Metaview (UK) raised a $35M Series-B round led by GV (Google Ventures), with continued backing from existing investors Plural, Vertex Ventures HC, Seedcamp and Coelius Capital. True Equity , Victor Riparbelli (founder of Synthesia), and Barney Hussey-Yeo (founder of Cleo) have also joined the round for its AI-first hiring platform with initial use cases on interviews and assessments: https://www.metaview.ai/resources/blog/series-b

💵 Knowunity (DE) raised a €27M Series-B round led by XAnge. The round also saw participation from Project A, PortfoLion Capital Partners, Isomer Capital, redalpine, Educapital, and notable angels including Verena Pausder. The fresh capital brings the firm’s total funding to €45 million. The platform merges peer-generated content with AI-driven customization, and is already used by over 20 million students across 15 countries. 💵 Jet HR (IT) raised a €25M Series-A round led by Base10 Partners for its cloud‑based HR platform for small to medium businesses. 💵 wilgo.ai (FR) raised a €6M seed round led by Founders Future and daphni, alongside Kima Ventures, Better Angle, EPSL VC and angels. Wilgo is building an AI-first tutor, rooted in cognitive science, to help students regain confidence, structure, and real learning habits. 💵 Solidroad (IE) raised a $6.5M seed round led by First Round Capital with participation from Y Combinator for its AI QA and training platform for customer experience teams. 💵 Nova (IT) raised a €3.2M Series-A led by CDP Venture Capital SGR with participation from BY Venture Partners and angel investors for its merit-based professional network and B2B SaaS recruiting platform. 💵 Tuktoro® by a2zebra (DE) raised a €2.5M seed round for its interactive, digital-haptic math learning toy. The new investors include Dieter von Holtzbrinck Ventures, Simon Capital, the Schadeberg Family Office, IBB Ventures, Angel Invest and the Falk Family Office. 💵 Lendorse (DE) raised a €1.75M seed round led by LUMO Labs and Soulmates Ventures, with participation from PI Impact and business angel Daniel Naber for its income-based student financing approach. The funding will be used to expand the product and team. The aim is to meet growing demand and expand the platform's reach. 💵 Stairling (FR) raised a €1.5M pre-seed round led by Kima Ventures & Plug and Play Tech Center for their employment-as-a-service platform for ride-hailing drivers giving thousands of independent drivers access to real social and financial protection. Additional start-ups reported smaller or undisclosed funding including Wibo (IT), and Comunico (IT), and Qling.ai (SW), and Good With (UK). Grants were announced by Growappy (PT), ClassHoppa (UK), BrainBite (NL), and Tuarity (IE).
