💰 April 2025: European HRTech Investment Update - M&A 🚀

Whilst the first of 2025 closed with a number of deals in HRTech already, M&A announcements in April have cooled off a bit. Conversations with investors, advisors and analysts underline, however, that several deals are on the way and also some start-ups in the continuous challenging funding environment are looking for a larger partner to team up with. Several deals again indicate a suite portfolio approach and others early exists of AI-based new tech solutions.

In April, we see industry consolidation continue and there are some interesting European and global #HRTech deals recorded. Here is the summary:

📝 Talent2Go (DE) acquired WÖRK.APP (now part of Talent2Go) (DE) - both early-stage startups focusing on young talent with their apprentice management and young talent recruiting solutions backed by allygatr. Some deals also took place in the HR services, consulting & outsourcing space (less HR Tech) that are still notable as oftentimes partners in the ecosystem and also moving closer together through tech:

📝 Amrop Rosin (BE) announced the merger of Amrop Canada and Humanis Talent Acquisition & Advisory (Canada), two of the country's most respected executive search firms. Amrop Rosin will be strengthened by the addition of an experienced and respected Western Canadian team. 🌎 Globally the most notable and also discussed HRTech deals in April include:
