Again we are taking a look at start-up and scale-up funding in #European #HRTech & #EdTech companies. This month again, there was a little less activity and communicated funding rounds were also smaller. Notably, HRTech & EdTech fundings like last month include several next generation #edtech startups.
⬇𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
💵 Springpod (UK) raised a $2.5M round from American Student Assistance for its early careers attraction, engagement and recruitment technology that helps young people discover their future.
💵 Wrksense (IE) raised a €825k pre-seed round led by Enterprise Ireland for its recruiting process automation platform.
💵 Navigara.com (CZ) raised a €400k pre-seed round from QQ Capital for its global HR market analytics platform.
Besides the venture funding it was also communicated that Beamery, one of the talent acquisition unicorns since 2022, secured a “significant” corporate debt financing from CIBC showing that alternative ways to fund growth besides investments are sometimes when getting closer to profitability - under current valuations - more attractive than venture funding. Also idenfit (TK) communicated a debt funding (bridge round) for its workforce management solution.
Also Attitude & Hiring (ES) and Sherpa Online (UK) communicated some funding activity with undisclosed rounds.
I skipped mentioning the funding rounds of student and children focused #edtech like Perlego (UK), Yoto (UK), Revyze (FR), Scholar Saver (UK) as they are not/ less active in B2B corporate environments. But it's great to again see how much innovation is coming to the next generation's learning path.
🌎 A notable global investment includes the $114M growth funding of Fingercheck (US). Besides I also want to mentioned the datascalehr (US) investment by the friends of Acadian Ventures (Thomas Otter, Jason Corsello). It's a company solving the global payroll data integration puzzle.
Let me know if I overlooked something in the comments below! 👇
Congrats to the startups, their teams and the founder including Sam Hyams, Andrew Connolly, Jirka Bachel💡, Abakar Saidov, NAZIM ONUR BAYINDIR, Josep Estrada, Conor Hughes and their teams as well as to the investors!
