European HR Tech Fundings 08/2025

August despite summer break was similarly busy as July in terms of funding news but with less larger rounds. There have been some noteworthy investments in early-stage HRTech ventures in Europe. The investments underline how AI is especially changing both learning and talent acquisition with new smart and AI-based use cases that replace manual work and improve quality.

Here are the details:

⬇𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:

💵 evulpo (CH) raised a CHF8.8M Series A from Serpentine Ventures, Swiss family offices, and notable entrepreneurs (majority existing investors) for its AI-based learning platform with curriculum-aligned content created in collaboration with Swiss universities, combining explainer videos, concise summaries and interactive exercises. Roughly 70% of the fresh capital is earmarked for further product development. Evulpo plans to introduce fully adaptive lessons that respond dynamically to student knowledge levels: 

💵 Vocal Image (EST) raised a $3.6M seed roundled by Educapital with participation from Specialist VC and Generations Fund for its AI platform for improving voice and speech. 💵 Anserine Labs (UK) raised a $3.4M seed round for its platform for asynchronous work communication for the AI-era. Former Facebook and Slack employees started the company: https://pitchbook.com/profiles/company/960774-31#funding

💵 Resume Wallet / CV Wallet (UK) raised a $1.5M angel round. It provide jobseekers with a free suite of tools specifically designed to make job hunting easier and more efficient for them. 💵 paddy (DE) raised a €1M pre-seed round led by HTGF | High-Tech Gründerfonds for paddy AI platform – a solution that simplifies daily teaching routines. The platform assists with lesson planning, creates tailored teaching materials in various formats, offers digital tools for lesson delivery, and analyses class performance. Additional start-ups reported smaller or undisclosed funding including LeadForceTalent (UA).

Interesting global fundings include Human Interest's (US; employee benefits) $50M Series-E; Darwinbox's (IN; HRIS) $40M Series-D as well as Dayforce's $6B debt financing by Goldman Sachs for Thoma Bravo taking them private and isolved's $350M secondary market transaction.
