🚀 March 2026 | HRTech Funding Highlights 🌍

With a bit of delay due to Easter location we are looking back fundings of European HRTech and WorkTech startups and scaleups. Whilst the market as well as the funding environment remains challenging for software vendors in the era of AI and SaaSpocalypse, March still showed that a lot of European scaleups with strong traction are also able to raise significant funding rounds.

Again, topics that vendors that received investments operate in similar HR tech companies primarily in the frontline payroll, benefits, learning and talent acquisition space.

Here are the details:

⬇𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:

💵 WorkFlex (NL) raised a €37M Series-B funding round led by Spectrum Equity, a Boston-based growth equity firm for international travel compliance management software. The new investment will enable WorkFlex to accelerate its expansion across Europe, enhance product capabilities, and venture into related areas of mobility risk management: Currently, WorkFlex processes more than 100,000 cross-border trips annually, with volume growing more than 250% year-over-year across over 1,000 distinct country combinations: https://www.workflex.com/post/workflex-secures-growth-investment-from-spectrum-equity-to-scale-automated-cross-border-compliance-platform

💵 Origin (UK) raised a $30M Series-A+ round led by Notion Capital, which also participated in Origin’s Series A round. Felix Capital, which led the Series A round, Acadian Ventures and all existing investors, are participating in the Series A+ that was raised at a higher valuation than the Series A. Alongside, Origin secured growth capital from HSBC Innovation Banking UK. For decades, global benefits have remained fragmented across countries, vendors, brokers, insurers, consultants, retirement providers, and point solutions. Origin addresses this with what it calls the first Enterprise Benefits Intelligence platform, a trusted system of record, insight, and action for global benefits, powered by AI: https://originbenefits.com/series-a-plus-funding?hsCtaAttrib=369349648584

💵 OpenUp (NL) raised a €20M unknown venture round from Smartfin and Rubio Impact Ventures for their employee mental health plaform operating across the Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, and Belgium, serving more than two thousand companies. The capital injection will allow the company to accelerate its European expansion strategy: https://openup.com/press/e20-million-capital-injection-for-openup/

💵 Flexzo Ai (UK) raised a GBP9M Series-A round led by Octopus Ventures. The company states that the funding round drew a combination of venture capital firms and strategic investors. The hospital workforce management tool provider said the financing will support the rollout of its platform across NHS Trusts and accelerate expansion in the US. Founded in 2023, Flexzo AI was launched to address the outdated processes, poor visibility, and fragmented compliance workflows present in NHS locations. With Flexzo, hospitals can source temporary and permanent staff from its talent pool. The platform also contains rostering tools, staff bank ad float pool management and a national database of pre-verified healthcare professionals: https://www.uktech.news/ai/agentic-healthcare-platform-flexzo-ai-raises-9m-20260320

💵 Bounti (DE) raised a €4M Seed-round led by Ventech with participation from IBB Ventures, Festina, Robin Capital, Common Magic and angels including Paul Forster (Indeed), Koen Bok and Jorn van Dijk (Framer) and various HR Angels Club members for its frontline worker focused AI-training and onboarding solution in hospitality, logistics & multi-site businesses across Europe. 💵 heycare (DE) raised a €4M extended Seed-round led by SCALEHOUSE Capital with participation from Swiss Post Ventures for its platform for various services related to employee assistance and family support. The platform connects people with care needs, including those requiring care and pets. This helps the company support its employees in better balancing their work and private lives. Since the beginning of 2026, the platform has also integrated the Urban Sports Club sports and wellness network. This allows corporate clients to access additional exercise and health-related offerings and create a comprehensive health ecosystem for their employees: https://www.heycare.com/heycare-sichert-sich-rund-4-millionen-euro-fur-weiteres-wachstum

Companies spend heavily on employee training each year, but traditional LMS and LXP platforms often fail to maintain engagement. Blify plans to solve this by embedding learning directly into the tools employees already use, such as Microsoft Teams, Slack, and WhatsApp: https://startuprise.co.uk/blify-raises-2-1m-to-build-ai-powered-workplace-training-platform/?ts=1773823072
