European HR Tech Fundings 01/2025

With this HR Tech Investment Update on start-up and scale-up funding in Europe we are starting busy into the new year.

💵 Naboo (FR) raised a €20M Series A round from Notion Capital for its corporate retreat booking platform. With this funding it plans to satisfy demand in the UK market as well as expanding its European footprint into Germany, Netherlands, Spain and Italy. 💵 Workwize (NL) raised a $13M Series A round from Klass Capital, Peak, and Graduate Entrepreneur Fund for its IT Asset Management for Globally Distributed Teams. 💵 Zelt (UK) raised a $6M Series A round from Nauta, Venrex and Episode 1 Ventures for its HR operations platform. Besides those also Givver (UK; invest from allygatr), AM Recruitment Ltd (UK, GBP2.5M debt), Baker Staff (FR), Readmio (CZ), Recfindr (UK), Meetgate (TK), One New One (TK), Quan (NL), Onuava reported some smaller, undisclosed, angel or debt funding activity.

Globally, some notable rounds include those of Leap (IN; $65M Series E), OnPay (US; $63M Series B and $37M in debt for its payroll, HR, benefits for small companies), SquarePeg (US, investment from my friends at Acadian Ventures).
