🚀 July 2026 | WorkTech Funding Highlights 🌍

The number of funding rounds announced in July 2026 dropped a bit compared to June and are headlined by Skello's €200M growth funding (minority shareholder) by Bridgepoint. Beyond that mega-round, VC and angel rounds announced were focused on earlier stages with focus on France and Italy.

The pattern holds: frontline workforce scheduling, AI-driven skills & recruiting intelligence, and care-economy platforms all attracting capital, with AI now the default rather than the exception. Several rounds thus again centered on the operational and frontline workforce.

Here are the details:

⬇𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:

💵 Skello (🇫🇷) raised an impressive €200m in growth equity funding led by Bridgepoint Group. The collaboration comes with the ambition to accelerate Skello's European expansion and its ongoing investments in artificial intelligence. Bridgepoint will become the company's lead minority shareholder with its lower middle-market fund focused on fast-growing European businesses. The company currently serves 30,000 businesses and 700,000 daily users across France, Spain, the Benelux, and Italy. Operating from its hubs in Paris, Lille, and Barcelona, Skello employs more than 400 people and exceeded €50M ARR in 2026, having reached profitability in 2025: https://www.bridgepointgroup.com/about-us/news-and-insights/press-releases/2026/skello-secures-a-new-eur200-million-investment-led-by-Bridgepoint-to-support-its-European-growth

The round brings the company's total funding to approximately €5 million, following a €1 million pre-seed round in January 2024. The skills intelligence platform was founded in July 2023 by three former Bain & Company consultants who developed the concept through Bain's internal hackathon and accelerated it via the Bain Founder Studio in Los Angeles. Talentware's technology uses AI agents to map and activate employee competencies within talent management processes, automating the identification of technical, managerial, and soft skills from unstructured company data. The funding will support team expansion, product development including AI-based situational assessments, and European market expansion: https://euroborsa.it/Talentware-chiude-un-Seed-round-da-3-3-milioni-di-euro.aspx
