With this HR Tech Investment Update on start-up and scale-up funding in Europe we are wrapping up a busy but also challenging funding environment #HRTech & #EdTech companies.
In the last month of 2024, there was quite some activity distributed throughout the European region and through different stages of maturity.
⬇𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
💵 CoachHub - The digital coaching platform (DE) raised a €40M Series D round from HSBC Innovation Banking for further expansion of its digital coaching business. HSBC Innovation Banking has been quite active in larger HR Tech funding rounds in recent months.
💵 Coding Giants (PL) raised a €8.5M unknown round from True Global Ventures and PortfoLion Capital Partners to develop the global digital education platform.
💵 malibou (FR) being part of the Y Combinator program raised €5.4M funding for its French SMB focused on payroll and compliance software as reported by SEC filings in December.
💵 gyde (DE) raised a €4.0M seed round from Mätch VC and LEA Partners for its frontline worker focused #training platform distributing knowledge easier to decentralized and operational teams.
💵 Talentium (SE) raised a €3.5M pre-seed round from EQT Ventures alongside other investors like Robin Capital for its AI-powered hiring platform entering the recent evolution of several vendors in this space with a very notable investment.
💵 Restworld (IT) reported a mix of €650k seed and €350k debt funding for its platform for all job offers in HoReCa sector.
Besides those also Magma Math (SE), unihelper.io (DK), Smartick (ES), and project b. (DE) reporting some smaller or undisclosed funding activity.
Globally, some notable rounds include those of Legion Technologies ($50M from Silicon Valley Bank for its AI-powered workforce management software) and those of Alight Solutions ($12M post IPO equity).
