European HR Tech Fundings 11/2025

In November, HR Tech fundings for new start-ups or uprising scale-ups in Europe were less significant and notable in size compared to some previous months, while US showed some additional larger rounds.

In general, the direction of funding towards AI-first talent acquisition and learning startups continues.

Here are the details:

⬇𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:

💵 Guidoio (IT) raised a €3.5M seed-round led by led 360 Capital alongside Azimut Libera Impresa for Italy's first fully digital driving school (you can argue whether this is WorkTech/ EdTech as primarily B2C). Guidoio is developing a fully digital model for obtaining a driving license. The company’s platform is designed for digital-native learners and digitalises the entire process, from enrollment to exams: https://tech.eu/2025/11/17/guidoio-raises-eur35m-to-scale-its-digital-platform-for-driving-licenses/

💵 Klaaryo (IT) raised an €2.1M seed-round from The Tech Shop with participation of FRONTECH for its conversational recruiting system based on WhatsApp and AI. The capital will allow Klaaryo to expand its team and accelerate the platform's development, strengthening its position in this segment and opening up new European countries: https://startupitalia.eu/startup/klaaryo-startup-recruiting-round/

💵 WeWillWrite (NO) raised an €2M unknown round co-led by Skyfall Ventures and Spintop Ventures. WeWillWrite has built a collaborative writing platform where students write short texts, exchange peer feedback, and develop confidence in their writing process. Already used by millions of students and 100,000 teachers across North America, the company plans to strengthen its Norwegian operations and scale further in key U.S. regions ahead of a global rollout by 2026–27. The fresh capital will fuel team expansion and product development: https://arcticstartup.com/wewillwrite-raises-e2-million/

Additional start-ups reported smaller or undisclosed funding including Nuela (ES), Papayo.ai (DE), PACED | People & Culture Education (DE), EQ Europe (SE), Inamo (SE) . Furthermore, vendors like |= Eedi (UK) reported grants. Sanako (FI) reported €4M and EA First (UK) as well as The HR Guru Ltd (UK) reported smaller rounds in debt-funding.

🌎 Interesting global fundings include:

  • Harmonic's (US) impressive $120M (💸) Series-C round for its artificial intelligence lab that develops mathematical reasoning engine designed to tackle complex mathematical problems

  • Flint's (US) $15M Series-A round to personalize learning for the AI-native generation
